EarthMark Communities
EarthMark History
In 1980, Philip Rosen's son Michael entered the family business. The Rosen Development Group (RDG) was created and the company's emphasis shifted to the development of master-planned communities and the building of single-family homes throughout New York and Florida . Michael also initiated a strategic expansion of the company'sexecutive leadership and its capabilities as a real estate development enterprise.

In the 1990s, RDG recognized the importance of environmental restoration and protection and joined the fledgling Mitigation Banking Industry with the development of the highly successful Big Cypress Mitigation Bank. EarthMark's balanced approach to environment and development has resulted in the creation of a new generation of gracious, amenity-rich communities more in tune with nature and more in touch with consumer desires.

This family tradition of hard work and forward thinking has resulted in the building of more than 42,000 residential units and 4,000 single-family homes, with more than 3,000 home sites approved for future development. Under Michel Rosen's leadership, it has also enabled the company to see opportunities where others may not, find areas where they can make a difference and create benchmarks for others to follow.
