It was nearly a century ago that a young Lithuanian
immigrant named Isadore Rosen began laying
cobblestone pavers in the streets of a burgeoning
New York City. Isadore soon turned his passion for
building into the largest masonry contracting
company in the state. His son Philip joined the
company in 1946 and the firm expanded into the
design and construction of multi-family
residences totaling over 37,000 apartments
for their fellow working families of New York.
